You Are Not Alone: No Matter What Season of Your Life

Last night I was not alone as I made my decision. There were, and still are so many choices for what to do. I want to serve. Plain and simple, I want to serve, but I want my service to be in a direction God wants me to go. I once read a book called, Hearing God. It was a book in the church library where we attended many years ago in Illinois. It was a bit of a long read if you looked up all of the Scriptures. I cannot remember the author now, but it opened my eyes to a lot of things I had not known and many things I had forgotten over the years. My heart was in somewhat of a good place, but I had so much more growth to pursue in my relationship with God so I could hear Him. A few years later I read Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby and used the workbook with it (information below). I went from hearing God to experiencing God. You are not alone. No matter what you believe, you are not alone.  There were days this past summer, 2020, when I felt alone and didn't have a distinct direction. You know, the kind of direction you get from your phone when the voice guides you to your destination? I'm not good with directions, but the phone voice helps my find my destination. Seriously, who is behind "the voice" on my phone? It sounds like a female voice, but is it? It sounds computerized, but whose voice was used to give the computer "the voice?" Does it matter whose "voice" it is? That depends what information I am pursuing. Let me give an example of where I'm going with this. I retired from my job at a preschool after several years.
